Marketing Assistant

Output is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join the team. In this role, you’ll be expected to support the Marketing Director in day-to-day to-dos for our product and content marketing campaigns. This role calls for a can-do attitude, copywriting chops, and familiarity with marketing technology platforms. The best candidate would be happy to take on even the smallest of tasks for the rest of the Marketing team. 


  • Liaising between Marketing and Design departments to execute projects to completion.

  • Write engaging copy for blogs, emails, tutorials, webpages, and paid ads.

  • Engaging with our community such as: press outreach, forum posting, social media replies

  • Using our email platform, Braze, to upload, schedule, test, and measure our email marketing campaigns

  • Proactively offers ideas for content, promotions, social media and other initiatives.

  • Ideate and execute brand giveaways and partnerships

  • Communicate with Agency and review the performance of past campaigns to optimize content.

  • Ensure the timely delivery of advertising assets to agency + third party platforms

  • Manage any Affiliates and track their performance.

Skills / Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in Marketing or a similar field

  • Is a team player - takes direction and constructive feedback, eager to learn, comfortable performing day to day tasks and providing administrative support for the Marketing team.

  • Highly organized with an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong copywriter. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Comprehensive understanding of publishing on social media platforms + trends. Familiarity with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok

  • Experience with CRM, email marketing, Wordpress or other blogging platforms

  • Music production experience 

  • Knowledge of basic Graphic Design / Video Terms

  • Proficiency in Excel and G-Suite products like calendar, docs, sheets, drive etc.

  • Confidence in interacting with new technological platforms (Metorik, Clickup,, Docusign, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of HTML, a plus
